It took four tries, but he finally blew the candle out!Of course, Auntie Delta joined us from Saskatoon via Skype. Ronan waited very patiently to open his birthday presents. Latham helped him open them when it was time. Ronan got some great presents; a soccer ball, Moonsand, and lots of Thomas the Train!
On Monday, his actual birthday, we had a birthday party at our house and invited all our friends.
A while back I had asked him what theme he wanted for his birthday - he didn't even hesitate "Thomas the Train!"

Collin took a few minutes off of work and stopped by.
Rachelle and her boys
Sorry, Carrie I didn't have a picture of you!
I even had matching Thomas the Train shirts for the boys to wear to the party!

I must say, most of Ronan's paintings all look the same these days - they tend to be monochromatic and he covers the entire paper with paint, from corner to corner. This masterpiece is a work-in-progress.
Of course, one of the boys is bound to get paint on his face, although I'm not exactly sure how it happened this time.

I love you Collin, and I'm looking forward to many, many more anniversaries!
