Ronan's new Froggy Hat

Ronan's Grandma handmade him a Froggy Hat.

Thanks, Grandma for my new hat! I love it!

A mohawk and a toothbrush...what more does a little man need?

I'm a sucker for toothbrushing. Today when my Mommy wanted to do a crazy hairdo on me, I wanted nothing of it. But then she said I could brush my teeth while she did it, and I fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

I had to use a big person toothbrush because I lost mine...Mommy says it's somewhere in the house.

I love to brush my teeth because I like the taste of the toothpaste.

My toothbrushing technique needs a little work, but Mommy says that that'll come with time.

OK, all done now...I want down!

Our new minivan!

Collin and I just bought a minivan - I am now a minivan mama! It's a 2005 Ford Freestar, and it's got a lot of neat features...including a sensor that tells me if I need to put air in the tires!

I like Mommy's new van and I like my new haircut!

He definately needed one...here's the before photo!

Animal Sounds and Facial Features

Ronan is getting more and more vocal everyday and his vocabulary is growing! He has mastered animal sounds and can also name his eyes, nose, ears and mouth. I got some of it on video this morning. As you can see, he is also quite mobile and especially enjoys climbing!

Saskatoon

I have just returned from a short trip to Saskatoon. My Grandma Holte came to BC from Wadena, SK for Christmas and she needed help to get home since she requires the use of oxygen tanks. I was fortunate to stay the weekend and see my cousin Rachel. We have lots of relatives in Saskatoon, but since I was there for such a short time, I wasn't able to visit as much as I'd have liked to.

I did, however, co-ordinate a meeting with my friend, Michelle, and her daughter, Kaitlyn, who drove three hours each way from Meadow Lake to see me. Here are some pictures of our meeting.

Michelle and Kaitlyn

What a cutie!

The three of us.

It was great to get away, but since I had never been away from Ronan before, I was happy to get home again.

Sledding

On the 31st we went sledding at nearby Silver Lake. We got some great videos of Ronan sledding down the small hill, and some good pictures of the afternoon.

I think he enjoyed it, but he was also a bit confused.

The Stockings

These are the stockings that I made for my parents as part of their Christmas presents this year. I think they turned out quite well.
