The Big Party!

For my 30th birthday, Collin threw me a party at my parents' house on Saturday, September 22nd. He did a great job - 34 guests showed up to help me celebrate this milestone birthday! I had a wonderful day.

Ladies Luncheon

On September 21st I turned 30 years old (!), and to celebrate my sister, Lara hosted a Ladies' Luncheon for my Bellingham friends and their babies at my house. As a birthday surprise my little sister, Delta and friend & cousin, Rachel flew in from Alberta and Saskatchewan respectively to be there.

Oatmeal for breakfast!

After eating only half of his oatmeal by spoon from me, I decided I would let Ronan try to feed himself. He was quite happy to do this, and it kept him occupied for over a half an hour. Despite what he looks like, he didn't get any oatmeal on the floor! After he was finished it was straight into the tub for the little guy.

Sunnyside, Washington

Ronan and I were very fortunate to go to Sunnyside in eastern Washington for the Labor Day long weekend. We were invited, along with our friends Krissy & Danielle, by other friends, Rachelle & Tyler, to visit Rachelle's mom who lives there. It was a great weekend!

Rachelle's extended family has acres upon acres of fruit orchards. Here Ronan and I are in the apple orchard.

Eva & Dimitrio Goritsas were married July 25, 2007 in Delta, BC. Since Collin is a very close friend of the family, he was asked to be the Master of Ceremonies at the couple's reception.
