Our church held an Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers and pre-schoolers yesterday. We had a great time and it was extremely well-organized considering the chaos that can ensue when 40-50 youngsters are all in a room together.
We got a blue plastic basket at Target in preparation for this event. I tried to get Ronan to say "Easter basket" but he calls it a hat instead and wears it on his head upside down.
He clued in right away to picking up eggs and putting them in the basket.
The plastic eggs were filled with goldfish crackers, jelly beans, and small toys.
