Easter Egg Surprises

For fun I hid some of Ronan's snacks in his Eater Eggs. He was so happy to sit in his highchair, wear his bunny ears that he got from the Easter bunny at the Mall, and shake the eggs to determine which ones held the treasure.

He smiled so nicely for this picture.

Easter Egg Hunt

Our church held an Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers and pre-schoolers yesterday. We had a great time and it was extremely well-organized considering the chaos that can ensue when 40-50 youngsters are all in a room together.

We got a blue plastic basket at Target in preparation for this event. I tried to get Ronan to say "Easter basket" but he calls it a hat instead and wears it on his head upside down.

He clued in right away to picking up eggs and putting them in the basket.

The plastic eggs were filled with goldfish crackers, jelly beans, and small toys.

Swimming!

Ronan and I have been taking Mommy & Toddler swimming lessons. They are twice a week, a half hour at a time. Ronan loves them and complains when class is over and we have to get out of the pool!

Here Ronan is about to blow bubbles. We've been practising in the bath at home.

Of course the toys (especially balls and little rubber duckies) are a highlight of class.

The worst part of class is practising back floats.

Last Saturday

Last Saturday Ronan and I went to Cornwall Park with our friends, Krissy and Danielle. It was a beautiful day - the sun was shining and it was quite warm.
