This one's for Daddy!

This video is of Latham actually up on all fours; Daddy is currently on a business trip, so he hasn't seen him do this yet.

Before you know it, he'll be crawling up a storm!
I love how he doesn't realize the giraffe toy is there until he acidentally touches it.

Ronan is quirky!

Ronan is quite the little character, and although many times I am too exhausted to put up with his "rules", I know that his toddler brain requires order and routine.

Last night I heard him knocking at his bedroom door like he always does if he wants attention after being put to bed. First he wanted water, then he knocked again to tell me a book had fallen on his toe and he needed it kissed better, then the third (or was it fourth?) knock was to show me how he had lined up some of his books on his bed. I could have been frustrated by all the delays, but instead I thought it was rather cute so I took a picture. Of course, after I put him back to bed for the umpteenth time, there was a final knock to show me that every single book (all 35 of them - I counted) that was in his room was lined up nicely on the bed. I refrained from taking another picture knowing that if I did then the books-on-the-bed thing would become a nightly ritual.

Along with lining objects up, Ronan also likes to separate items into different groups. One evening while I was making dinner, he spent nearly half an hour organizing his alphabet magnets on the fridge. He was so proud of the work he did so I praised his efforts and took a picture. (I don't know what's up with the lone green letter at the end of the yellow row.)

This is how I found him this morning, in a front row seat watching Dragon Tales. What a quirky little guy - he is always so much fun! Oh, to be a child again!

Almost at another milestone!

Yay! Latham started pulling his knees up under himself yesterday! He didn't quite get his arms up under him at the same time - when his butt was up in the air his chest was on the ground and vice versa.

This morning however, when I went in his room to get him out of his crib, he was up on all fours! This video was taken yesterday, before he had mastered arms and knees at the same time.

Sorry...it's a little long.

The Boys

There's no real story behind these pictures, they're just ones I've taken over the last week or so when I remember to pull out the camera or when Latham or Ronan is looking especially cute.

Hangin' out.

CHEESE!

Getting ready to go out in new summer clothes.

Eatin' my sock...yum!

Tickle Fight!

Collin took the camera with him on his business trip to Tennessee, so for this week's blog entry I dug in the archives for some pictures to post.

A month or two ago I pinned Ronan down on our bed while tickling him with one hand and taking pictures with the other - I got some great shots!

This one's for you, Delta!

I was informed by my little sister that my baby has "creepy" eyes. Of course I was slightly offended although she said she didn't mean it in a bad way. The funny thing is that Delta had the exact same eyes when she was his age! We often marvel at how much he looks like Delta when she was little.

Look into my eyes!

Last Saturday

Last weekend Collin's dad, sister and niece came for a visit. Ronan had so much fun with his one and only cousin, Lauryn.

Bike rides are always a hit.

The two of them dragged out ALL of Ronan's books and took them to the backyard to read under the inflatable socceer net. They were occupied for a long time.
